It’s typically dated from roughly the 1300s through the 1500s, with many historians extending it to the early 1600s as ideas and changes carried on into the scientific revolution and beyond. The range 1300-1600 AD best captures this broad period, spanning the early start in the 14th century, through the height of the 15th and 16th centuries, up to the cusp of the 17th century. The other options either fall too early, are too narrow in scope, or extend beyond when the Renaissance is generally understood to have concluded.
